Q: What happens if I book a home online?

A: We'll require a 25% deposit that is applied to your overall balance, and we run your credit card during our office hours. You will receive a "pending" email confirmation for your reservation within twenty minutes after the reservation is completed via our website. You will receive an "approved" email confirmation once your credit card has been charged. Your balance will be due 2 weeks prior to your arrival and we will send you a reminder email 3 days in advance of that payment taken automatically. Once we settle the remaining balance, we will send you arrival instructions with the check in details. Check in time is 4pm, but you’re welcome to arrive early and enjoy the resort amenities even though your room may not be ready.

Q: How do you charge?

A: We take a 25% deposit at the time of reservation which is applied to the reservation total. That deposit is entirely refundable up to 14 days prior to your stay. Please check our terms and conditions for further explanation.

Q: How do I book a home?

A: There are two ways: You can book online on our site or you can call our office and we’ll take the reservation over the phone.

Q: Can we view a home prior to booking?

A: All of our properties are pictured on our website where you can get a great feel of the layout and decor. Our helpful staff is also happy to answer any additional questions to make sure you are getting the property that best suits your needs. Nearly 100% of our properties are booked without a walkthrough. We do not offer walk throughs at this time.

Q: Is there a minimum stay?

A: During most times of the year, there is only a 1 night minimum in the Mountain Lodge. The condos and homes typically
require a 2 night minimum.  Some properties or dates may require a longer stay.

Q: What do you provide?

A: We provide all our properties with quality sheets, linens, and towels, soaps and shampoos, and standard hotel amenities. We also provide a Keurig, coffee pods and creamer. It is our hope that outside of groceries, all you need is a suitcase.

Q: Do you serve breakfast?

A: No, we do not provide breakfast but you’re welcome to enjoy the wonderful restaurants that Wintergreen Resort offers.

Q: What are check-in/check-out times?

A: Check-in is 4 pm the day of arrival. Check-out is at 11 am. You’re welcome to arrive early or stay late and enjoy the great amenities that Wintergreen Resort offers even if your property isn’t ready yet.

Q: Do you allow smoking?

A: Smoking is strictly prohibited and fines are applicable.

Q: What types of payment are accepted?

A: We accept Visa, MC, Amex, and Discover cards.

Q: What is expected of cleaning upon departure?

A: We take care of cleaning our properties between stays. No need to strip the beds or start the laundry, but we ask that you be respectful of the property and our staff and do not leave it a mess.

Q: How do we get keys and directions?

A: Check-in procedures will be emailed to you prior to your stay, usually 7 days before your arrival, once your balance is settled. Check in is done at the front desk of the Mountain Inn of Wintergreen Resort.

Q: Does the unit have a TV?

A: All units have TVs.

Q: Do homes have Internet access?

A: All properties have Internet access.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: No, pets are not permitted at Wintergreen Resort. A fee of $150.00 per night will be assessed if a pet are discovered in the rental accommodations.
